“Play in Education”Series:
Workshop by Press Start Hong Kong
(For practitioners related to education and parents)

Introduction |

“Gamified” homework and learning systems have been around for a long time, but the resurgence of analog games – board games, card games and live-action game experiences – have inspired a new way of experiential learning, by putting “fun” first.

A follow-up to “Gamifying Education: How to Design a Fun-First Educational Experience”, this session will place you at the heart of a game-based training workshop that Press Start Hong Kong runs as team-building exercises for a diverse range of clients: schools, youth organizations, startups and multinational corporations.

You will see how simple games, with the right twist and a few discussion prompts, can be turned into powerful tools for self-exploration and skill development, without learners even knowing it – and experience how students can absorb new concepts and even find new passions all by themselves.
